Swim - 8 & Under Recognition (8am & 8:50am)
DL Pavilion
Please join us for a special recognition party for the 8&Under swimmers. At the start of practice (8am or 8:50am), the coaches will give out paper plate awards to all 8&Under swimmers under the DL pool pavilion. After the ceremony, swimmers will practice as usual. |

Swim - Mini Dolphin Graduation (during regular practice)
DL Pool
Please join us for mini-dolphin graduation! Parents of all mini dolphins are invited on deck during their regularly scheduled practice for a graduation tradition. Each mini-dolphin will swim the length of the competition pool with the rest of the swim team lined up on the sides to cheer them on. Each mini will receive a special recognition after they complete their swim. |

Pep Rally: Dessert Pot Luck
Near the Snack Shack
Start: 7:00 PM
End: 8:00 PM
Bring your favorite dessert to share and a serving utensil (labeled with your name). Please have it out on the tables by 6:50 so we can open the dessert line at 7. We are looking for a few volunteers to help manage the event (set up and clean up). You can also sign up to bring plates, bowls, and plastic utensils for volunteer points. Visit the job sign up and consider helping out to fulfill your volunteer commitment. |

Swim-Donut Friday

Every Friday the swimmers are treated to a donut after practice. If you are able to help donate donuts, we would appreciate it! Please have donuts at the pool deck by 8:00 at the end of the first practice. |

Swim- Drag day during regular practice
DL Pool
Start: 8:00 AM
End: 10:40 AM
Join us for drag day. This is a DL tradition where swimmers come to practice dressed in their clothes. Layer up on the clothing for extra drag in the water. Swimmers will do some laps in their clothes (“drag”), participate in a t shirt relay, and belly flop contest. At the end of practice, when they remove their drag they will feel super fast. |

Swim-Lollipop Meet @ Hunter Mill (For 8 & Unders Only)

This meet is for all Mini Dolphins, and 8&Unders swimmers that have NOT participated in a Saturday NVSL Meet. Swimmers can do a 25m freestyle AND backstroke. They will also have the option to participate in a relay. Swimmers receive a lollipop at the end of their races. Hunter Mill hosts this meet with 9&older swimmers assuming most volunteer roles (timers, announcer, etc). |

Swim team photo! Our team photographer will take a team photo on Jul 9th at 8am. Please come in your team shirt (labeled with your name on the tag please!), for a team photo. Directly after the photo, kids will practice. |
